Desktop Publishing Summary
To prepare a book for the printing house, you should plan to format your book for PostScript fonts and a PostScript printer. You need at least an 040-level Macintosh or a 486 PC with Windows, along with a true desktop-publishing program. The computer must have at least 8 Mb of memory and a 250 Mb hard drive. The fonts must be Adobe PostScript fonts for correct printing with a PostScript printer.
