The March 13 meeting of the Ventura County Writers Club will be “Sense-Memory,” specifically designed to move beyond traditional writing approaches that focus on craft. Through guided breathing and a discrete targeting of the senses, writers will be able to access new ideas and provide different perspectives on old ones.
Sandra Hunter, an award-winning teacher, fiction writer, and playwright will be the instructor. The meeting will begin promptly at 7 p.m. at the Pleasant Valley Senior Center in Camarillo. The public is welcomed to all meetings, which are free.
